The installation went smoothly and efficiently and they have been wonderful to work with since when a follow-up question or concern has arisen.  I recommend them to anyone looking to replace their roof and/or mitigate ice damming issues.

In particular, hats off to Darlene in the office and Matt in the field who managed the installation of my new roof; both have gone above and beyond since.  Besides knowing their stuff, they have always been exceedingly courteous and responsive to my concerns.

I received many quotes from different companies and scoured the internet. Matt has been my main point of contact and responds virtually immediately every time.  He has gone above and beyond to ensure our entire tear-off roof was done correctly and with precision.  He has stayed in contact even months after the job was done to provide additional peace of mind.  When he came to do the quote in the dead of winter he was up on the roof in 2 feet of snow to give a full accurate quote. We had a new roof installed recently by Ron Ferris and Son Roofing and couldn’t be happier with our choice to go with them for the installation! My initial meeting with Ron to get and idea of the scope of the project went great, he was very knowledgeable about his trade, very informative and answered any questions I had. Darlene was a pleasure to work with getting the job scheduled, and she was very prompt and thorough with responding to any questions or concerns that we had along the way.  Matt and his crew did a great job with the installation, they were very professional, efficient and worked extremely clean during every aspect of the job from the tear off all the way thru until the job was finished. The thing that impressed me the most, was that during the installation, one of his crew accidentally banged into the corner of one of our gutters along the back end of our garage and even though I told Matt not to worry about it (since I was getting new gutters right after the roof installation), within about 1 1/2 hours, he had a crew on site to replace the entire gutter, free of charge…in my opinion, that’s speaks volumes to how they stand behind their work!
Getting a new roof these days can be a sizable investment, so we wanted to make sure that we chose a company with a rock solid history for doing quality work, and their customer feedback speaks for itself.  We had the added advantage of getting a preview of the quality of their work and how Matt and his crew went about their business, since they did an installation for our next door neighbor as well just months prior to our job. I would highly recommend that anyone who is in the early stages of doing research on what roofing company you might want to consider for your new installation or any other sort of roof work, to save your time and energy and just connect with Ron Ferris and Son for your project…you won’t regret it!

It is a generational family business and we immediately realized the difference this makes when we met them. Not only were we not given a gimmicky sales pitch, the price was reasonable and the work done well.

The care and pride they take in their work is clearly backed by decades of personal experience and knowledge. On top of this, they are friendly and efficient. The full tear off and replacement only took 7 hours, start to finish, with all workers being considerate and respectful of our home and exterior.

And of course, our new roof looks and functions great and will continue to for decades as it is backed by their personal warranty.

Ultimately, if you’re looking for roof work and want a company that cares and stands by their work, I highly recommend them.

From the moment Ron came out for a quote, I knew they were different from the others I'd interviewed. We bought an unusual house with a history of roofing issues, and Ron took the time to assess everything and really understand how best to approach our situation. Darlene was my contact for scheduling, materials selection and questions, and she was a pleasure. When Matt and crew came to do the work, we were so impressed. They were meticulous with the job, which included some creative problem-solving. But, more than that, they were kind, to us and to each other. Also, the crew was here for a solid week, working over a holiday weekend, during a stretch of very hot weather, but Matt had them knock off early when needed, to avoid the worst heat. I really appreciated that they were all family members and friends. I just can't recommend Ferris enough.

Excellent communicators throughout the process, finished on time, and the price was fair. We have dogs and children and their daily as well as the wrap up at the end was very thorough. Don’t waste your money cutting corners- you’ lol end up paying for it and vet bills, doctor bills or new tires! These guys are great!

Matt came to us as soon as we needed him to and gave excellent advice about what we should do. Darlene was amazing and really worked hard to help us with the insurance company.
Every single day the crew were professional and respectful of not only our property, but our neighbors as well by not letting materials blow around. Each night any equipment they left behind was organized neatly either in our back yard or in the driveway and covered/secured for the night. Everything that was torn off was removed each day and they took great care to make sure no nails were left behind on our property.
Matt discovered the initial roof installation wasn’t done correctly. He explained the standards to me, as well as what they discovered and assured me that the new roof was going to be better than the original.
I am so grateful for the work done by Ron Ferris and Son and would recommend them to ANYONE needing a new roof.
